Hi sorry if you have already got this message but I just phoned atos to see when my face to face assessment was as so worried they said were deciding if a paper decision could be made , do they say that as standard ? Also will I see a doctor like I did for esa as I have multiple sclerosis? Look forward to your reply. ( getting in bit of a muddle posting questions) Hayley

They may have asked your GP or other contacts for more information. They don't usually make reference to a paper assessment unless they are actually considering one.
If you do have a face to face then it may be a doctor, but if it is not then you cannot insist that you see one, all assessors are considered to be able to carry out the interview.
