PIP MR decision received dated 2 days after reques was created by otoviano
Hi I received my pip decision on letter dated 8/02. Telephoned and requested MR on 14/2, along with sending letter dated the same, in both advised would be sending further evidence. Then received a letter dated 16/02 saying they had reviewed decision , still the same? So 2 days in between, are they allowed to do this? Phoned DWP and they said the letter shouldn't have been sent and they had received letter of 14 and was with a caseworker and to just send in evidence as I had planned? Any advice? Thanks v much

If you have received a Mandatory Reconsideration Notice then you have two options;
You can go straight on to appeal, or you can pursue the second MR that seems to have been offered, in which case I would get the information to the DWP as soon as you can.
Be aware, the time for you to request an appeal may have been set by the first letter, so if the Decision still remains unchanged, I would explain what has happened on your appeal request, especially if you are outside of the original one month.
