Hi After following your PIP guides in detail, and sending a raft of evidence in (sufficient that according to guidance they should have made paper base decision!), I was asked to go for face to face assessment
I was awarded standard rate PIP. Then spontaneously I got a letter from the DWP saying they had reviewed my claim and decided I was entitled to the enhanced rate!!!
I had not made any contact with DWP or made any challenge to the award. Wonder how often that happens?! So since we usually have a lot of trouble getting what we are entitled to, I thought credit was due to the DWP for looking at things properly for a change!
It's a pity more people don't get this kind of service.
