Hi, I'm taking my relative to her PIP F2F assessment this week. She is moved around out of doors in a transit-type wheelchair, but indoors uses a zimmer frame.
Given that the mobility descriptor is about outdoor movement, should I take along the frame just in case they want to see her use it? I'm not entirely sure I can get both the wheelchair and the frame into my car, but will have a go if you think it's a good idea.

If your relative wants the assessor to see her walk then she should consider taking the frame, how would you actually get it in to centre?
Your relative can also refuse to walk if doing so would cause her distress or pain.
