Just a general question on PIP that I am confused about from general reading through the legislation.
Can you take your PIP award if you go abroad? There was general discussion on it somewhere and one person was saying yes, another was saying no but I can't tell from the legislation myself - its not general enough for me!
I get the 8 week bit but then I get lost.
If they are our rights, why do we have to fight for them?

You can go abroad for up to 13 weeks and continue to receive your PIP, other benefits are a lot less.
If you are talking about exporting you benefit to another country on a permanent basis then this would be something that you would have to ask the DWP about.
