I have schizophrenia but have also had a short assessment (not diagnosis) by a qualified assessor as having many symptoms of dyspraxia (although there is an overlap of these symptoms and the neurocognitive symptoms of schizophrenia so its not certain the exact cause.) Anyway one of my 'dyspraxic' symptoms is an incredibly poor sense of direction, meaning I get lost in unfamiliar places, get off trains/buses at the wrong stop, leave my luggage on the train, lose my tickets etc etc. A friend or my Mum has to go with me when I go on 'unfamiliar routes'. I sometimes travel with a group led by nurses for people with MH difficulties and they help me.
Its not psychological distress exactly but actual poor navigation skills and plain scattiness.
Would this get me any mobility points do you think? I know they're being right bastards on this one at the moment.
