ESA Home visit denied was created by Loooolooo
Hi
After having terrible trouble attending our assessment center for my husband to be assessed, they advised us of a huge delay as soon as we went in, it got my husband who has a personality disorder very distressed. I contacted my MP who spoke to the DWP to ask for a home visit and she was told that they will only do a home assessment if the person is unable to leave their home and has medical evidence as proof, has anyone been able to get a home visit but was still able to leave their home?
thanks

It is possible but it will be difficult. You will need his GP to write to Maximus explaining why he cannot attend at their offices, if they can include information about the distress he was in when he did attend this may help.
