DLA - still waiting for assesdment for PIP was created by san0352
I have still not heard when my assessment will take place for PIP. I am wondering when I am likely to hear from the DWP. I am seeing all these posts on the forum, which cause you to worry when you see people who are obviously in need of PIP, in particular the mobility part of it, not qualifying and having to appeal. This obviously causes me concern. I just need it to be dealt with so that I can stop worrying. I am sure there are alot of people in the same position as myself.

I'm afraid there is no way to know when a specific claimant will be invited to claim PIP, selection is random so you could receive the letter tomorrow or in a couple of years.
It can't hurt to familiarise yourself with the PIP assessment criteria as it is very different from DLA. Have a read of our PIP Claim guide on the following link
