DLA to PIP was created by Susan Smith
Hi, I applied over the telephone for the transfer from DLA to PIP on Wednesday after receiving the letter saying my DLA was to end. Please could you tell me how long I can expect to wait before the form arrives now.
Also, when the form is returned I intend to send it recorded delivery, how long can I then expect to wait for a face to face appointment ?
I understand that timescales can vary, but was just wondering if you could roughly comment please.

The form usually takes 7-10 days.

Appointments are quite variable, the DWP are quoting six weeks but we know of some areas where it may only be 2-3 weeks and Capita in the East Midlands could be 8-9 weeks.
