Waiting to hear

Hi there. Do you have any idea how long it takes to hear from the DWP. We completed the PIP 2 form and sent it off. They received it on the 24th of May, and a lady from the DWP confirmed it had started the assessment stage. Since then we've heard nothing. The waiting is just so stressful.

There appears to have been a significant slow down in the PIP assessment process over the last couple of months, we have gone from 3-4 weeks to 7-8 weeks and some areas such as the East Midlands are taking even longer.
