In the application for PIP it states items or accessories needed does having to use a wheelchair count

Welcome to the forum, you might want to have a look at the following FAQ which explain where everything is

A wheelchair is not considered for PIP, if you use one because you have problems with walking then you must explain those problems See the PIP Claim guide for more information.
