Motability Transitional Support Package was created by flossbenji
My award of high rate mobility of DLA has been reduced to standard rate mobility of PIP. Motability have offered £2000 as part of their "transitional support package". Would this money count as "capital" for means tested benefits? Or is it ignored for a certain period of time like benefit arrears payments are?

It's not a DWP payment so I would expect it to be classed as capital.
