PIP Assessment was created by Ken Grundy
Had my PIP Assessment yesterday . My wife attended with me . I had a brain haemorrhage 17 years ago, as most of my problems relate to loss of memory my wife puts my clothes out so I know what to put on .Realised afterwards that we were not asked all the questions ,do I complain now or wait to see what I'm given? Also asked about alcohol intake and drug use .Is this normal?

Hi and Welcome to the forum, you might want to have a look at the following FAQ which explains where everything is

Welcome to Benefits and Work

In case you are not aware, your real name appears to be showing in the forum (if it is your real name!), if you want to change this then follow the instructions in the following FAQ

My full name is showing, how can I stop it?

We have given up on trying to guess the outcome of an assessment so don't give up hope. In your position I would wait for the decision before making a complaint - it could be that the assessor only needed to clarify a few points in order to make a recommendation.

You can request a copy of the assessment report from DWP, I would suggest you leave it until Monday to give it time to be prepared.

May I suggest that you bookmark/favourite this on your web browser now so that you can find it easily in future? This will allow you to return with further questions or comments about your PIP without having to start a new topic each time. We ask members to keep everything relating to the same claim in one topic as it helps us enormously - and I hope you will find it useful too :)

Nothing on this board constitutes legal advice - always consult a professional about specific problems
