Welcome to Benefits and Work You do not need to provide detailed reasons with the SSCS1 to request an appeal, we recommend your waiting to do this until you have received the DWP's submission and all of the documents used in the making of the original Decision, although you can start preparing your response now.
You need to explain why you meet the criteria for an award, you don't mention the benefit, but both our ESA and PIP Claim guides explain what you need to meet in depth.
