Without any of the other dates involved in your transfer it's difficult to offer advice, but as you have now identified, your PIP is paid four weekly in arrears so there will be a gap between your DLA stopping and your PIP payments starting.

You can ask but as the Government is trying to move all payments to longer periods you may struggle to get this done.
