Confused regarding working age.

My wife has been on DLA for a number of years and has recently been sent an application form for PIP. However she is 68 years of age with a birth date of 30/04/1949 and became entitled to and drew her state pension on her 60th birthday
When I read forms and advice on here I get the impression that because she is now not of working age she should be staying on DLA which was awarded for life.
Can anyone throw some light on this as every time I look at the PIP form I believe more and more that it does not apply to her.

ps. Coincidence or what but the day after she made the initial phone call to DWP saying that she wanted to claim PIP she started to receive emails from employment agencies informing her of job vacancies.

Phrases such as "working age" are misleading as they do not apply to DLA claimants being invited to claim PIP.
The test is whether the claimant was under the age of 65 on 8 April 2013, if they were then they are eligible to be transferred even if they are over the age of 65 when they received the invitation.
If you wife has been invited then she must make a claim for PIP if she wishes to retain her benefit, whatever happens, her DLA claim will be closed by this process.
