I have just completed and sent off the PIP application form after being 'invited' to transfer from DLA after many years of IB/ESA/DLA. My problem is that in the two weeks prior to sending the form back I was unable to gain access to a GP, despite five attempts. What worries me now is that despite their knowledge of my medical history, for example that I was medically retired after 26 years, the DWP will claim a lack of evidence. Should I persevere with my attempt to get evidence from my GP and forward it to the DWP. Not only is this government making my claim more difficult, it is making it harder for me to obtain evidence to prove my case. Should I make a Subject Access Request at my GP ? I am worn out.
