Hi, I recently had a medical assessment for change DLA to piPIP which I was awarded standard rate care but only 4 points for mobility, which I am waiting for a tribunal date to come. today I have received a letter for another medical from DWP in relation to my benefit claim I think Esa as I had a form to fill in around the same time May, June all though the letter does not state this. please, can you tell me do I still need to attend this appointment even though I have only had one on the 22 May results of medical 5 June? there have been three more appointments made via the doctor to the hospital but I have written into the DWP with this information. Thank you, Sue
I'm afraid the report from a PIP assessment cannot substitute for your attending an ESA assessment, there are too many differences in the criteria, you need to attend.
