hi i've just recieved my pip assessment report its a change over from DLA where I got high rate on both it looks like i'm going to get 12 points on the care side of things and nothing on the mobility i'm really scared because I will be virtually housebound I know I can do an MR when my pip comes through but I could lose everything if I do an MR my GP is extremely supportive and she will do a letter for me and my MP is to I can't get any new medical evidence only a letter off my GP would this be enough
Unless you can show that the significant flaws with the current Decision, yo may need to think about taking it to appeal as revision rates at MR are very low. An appeal resets everything and the panel should treat all of the evidence in a much more balanced way, so a letter from your GP may be enough with what you have already submitted.
But remember, you'll only receive a Mobility award by showing that you meet the criteria for one, so you need to go through your PIP2, your evidence and the PIP Claim guide to make sure that you have shown this to be the case.
