Hi my son is 26 has severa learning disabilities and has been on dla since the aged of 5. We haven’t started the transition over to pip yet but was wondering how they do a face to face with a person who can’t understand complex information and has no speech apart from using the odd symbol/ signs, I feel that it’s degrading to put a person through this. Any thoughts

Are you your son's appointee?
If you can supply sufficient evidence of your son's conditions, it may be possible for a Paper Based Review to be carried out.
