Nothing on this board constitutes legal advice - always consult a professional about specific problems

I would contact the DWP, in all likelihood it will not be an issue but we have seen these circumstances misreported on a number of occasions and I would not take the risk.

Hi Gordon, can I ask whether the questions at the F2F just relate to the questions on the PIP form or are other topics likely to surface?

They are only interested in your ability to complete each of the PIP activities but they may approach this from odd directions, as an example'; if you have reported problems with grip and that this effects your ability to Prepare Food, then you might be asked bout your ability to drive, driving requires you to grip the steering wheel and they would expect you to also have problems with this.
I will warn you that some of the assumptions that they make by this questioning are tenuous.

OK Thanks for that Gordon. I shall try and be alert to what they may be asking about but TBH the time of my appointment is the time of day I am normally nodding off for an hour or so.

Another problem has cropped up with my health. I had an X-Ray after seeing my Respiratory consultant a week ago and I have received an appointment for a small op the day before my F2F. It may result in an overnight stay but I will be home before my HP arrives for the home visit. I will probably still be in quite a bit of extra pain moving around. I will obviously let the guy know about the op. but have no idea whether they will insist on watching me move around in my home or accept what I have told them on the form.

You can refuse any activity that would cause you unreasonable pain or mental distress, just makes sure that you explain why you are refusing,
As to them looking around your home, they are visitor with no more right to look around then anybody else who visits you, although it would be unusual for them to ask in the first place.
There's a section in the PIP Claim guide that covers the assessment and the questions you are likely to be asked.
