I was put on ESA WRA initially, and then reassessed, and put in SG.
I decided to close my claim not so long ago and transitioned into working short term contracts so I could earn a living and get back into the world.
Recently the WP have contacted me about attending an appointment. And stated "or my benefit could be sanctioned". But I'm not claiming anything so I don't know what that even means.
I know when I first went to the WP, they mentioned you're in it for two years regardless of your situation. And others have told me that in never stops when you go into work, it just pauses so you may have to go back if you are unemployed again. Is this true if I ever need to claim JSA?
Also, others have recommended not attending the app and just telling them to stop contacting me, as they are only interested in earning money from my situation. Is this correct advice?
I closed my claim and I know they must have found this out as they are surely notified. So I don't know what they want from me.
I would write to the Work Programme provider and make them aware that you are no longer in receipt of a relevant benefit and as a result will not be attending their appointment.
