PIP Tribunal Hearing letter arrives too late

I have an appointment to see my GP on Monday 4th December, 3 days after the hearing date, the earliest I could get, so cannot get the report in time.

Just had a letter from the tribunal saying postponement is refused. This letter was dated 28/11/2017 but arrived on 29/11/2017, one day later. So, how come this letter arrives one day after writing, but the other one arrives 18 days after writing ?
