Compliance interview at job centre was created by catherine4859
Got an appointment letter yesterday for a compliance interview ordered to attend or benefits would stop! I have been in receipt of ESA income related assessment rate since September topped up by PIP. I have heart failure, kidney disease caused by Vasculitis which is a very rare autoimmune disease for which there is no cure, I am immunosuppressed for this. I have fibromyalgia and pain in all my joints including my lower back. I have attended the hospital and renal unit for the last 5 years every 3 months to monitor my vasculitis and kidney function. I take a lower dose chemo twice a day and a cocktail of other drugs to keep me alive. I am currently under renal, orthopedics, cardio, rhumatology in January and waiting to see neurology. Now sorry for my medical history but the DWP is in receipt of all the evidence for the above so many pages the envelope could not fit anymore in, I have stacks more of evidence they could have had. I sent my questionnaire back with the evidence and hoped to be placed in the support group that was in October not heard a thing, then the compliance letter arrived yesterday, I am in disbelief and I feel like this is harassment, I am just getting over a major flare of my fibromyalgia due to dealing with the DWP the stress makes it worse now I'm stressing about this. Half of me is really angry and the other half of me is worried. On the whole I am sick to the back teeth of the DWP and their scare tactics and just before Christmas too! And a Merry Christmas to them too!!!!

Not the greatest brown envelope to receive just before Christmas, some of these are generated at random, some are the result of calls to the Fraud Line and the rest are the result of an anomaly being detected by the DWP or another agency.
You can try contacting the DWP for more information.
The compliance team have no access to your medical information so they will have no understanding of your problems and limitations.
