Pip appeal was created by Jutey
I have received the mandatory reconsideration decision. Infuriating. The first paragraph states we did not submit any evidence, I sent GP letter, letter from myself as carer and appointee and support from her grandparents who care for her when I am working. All listed separately what care she needed. The didn’t even look at it! The report is full of inaccuracies. I followed all the advice on here and given on other sites and list the care she needed and referenced the specific descriptors. I sent the MR & evidence recorded delivery signed for on 4th January the decision was made on 23rd January.

Has anyone else had experience where they didn’t look at evidence?

I would contact the DWP office dealing with your claim and ask for an explanation as to why the evidence you sent was not reviewed as part of the M|R.

However, you should also consider going on to the appeal, revision rates at MR are very low, the DWP quote 20% but we don't see anything like this figure on the forum, success rates at appeal are in excess of 60%.

Thanks for your response, I wasn’t sure I could contact them and ask why the evidence wasn’t looked at. I was under the impression they wouldn’t review again as they had already reconsidered.
I am trying to get in touch with welfare rights worker and am also intending complaining to my Mp.
