Received ESA50 form yesterday.

As title says i got the form yesterday morning through the post, I contacted my GP asking if they could do a letter that i can enclose with the form but they refused. Is it beneficial for my GP to do this?
I am seeing a Psychologist for the last 6 months and he will be doing me a letter. Really do not need this stress right now, Although i will be glad when it is all over, it has taken 16 months to get this form.

It is usually better if your GP is prepared to provide evidence of your problems but it is not an essential and based on feed back on the forum it not always as helpful as they would hope.
