Hi, I have missed the deadline for requesting a mandatory recon. for transfer from DLA to PIP. One of the reasons is that the DWP failed to send a copy of the report from the assessment the first time i requested it and I had to request it again, another was illness. Should i send the recon request anyway; ask for an extension or start again from the beginning?

You can still make a Late request for an MR but you will need to explain why this has happened, the assessment report being delayed should be accepted as Good Cause.
