Mandatory Reconsideration

Hi,I rang DWP and requested a mandatory reconsideration within the 30 days. I was informed in the call that I have a further month, from that date, to submit reasons and GP report. I then had a family bereavement and didn’t confirm the call in writing. Was that information accurate or have I missed the boat? Thank you

They should give you 28 days but this time includes postage so it reality you need to send it not later than 21 days after the phone call for it to be considered.
