Face to face assessment was created by L.M.B
Hi,I received my appointment for f2f assessment at my home ,unfortunately I had to cancel this appointment as I will be away ,I am aware you can cancel your appointment once only,I’m hoping when my rearranged appointment comes through it doesn’t coincide with any hospital appointments I am waiting for I know I will have to cancel the hospital should this happen!
Any advice would be welcomed please on how to conduct myself
On my home f2f assessment ...
Do they carry out an inspection of your home too/are you physically examined?
Many thanks in advance for your time......

Nothing on this board constitutes legal advice - always consult a professional about specific problems

Were you unable to make a new appointment while you were on the phone?
The PIP Claim guide has sections on the assessment and the questions you are likely to be asked. Home assessments are not significantly different from those done at their offices.
There may be a very basic physical examination, range of joint movement and the strength of your grip.
Assessors are visitors in your home and have no more right than anybody else to look around, in practice very few assessors actually ask.
