It's confusing.
The OP raised the issue of the savings limit, since this only applies to means tested benefits I think that it is reasonable to assume that they are receiving one.

Can you please also tell me....
DO the DWP get 1 month from my tribunal date or 1 month from the date they receive the letter off the tribunal to appeal the judgment decision? I was led to believe that the day of your hearing and if you win that the DWP get notified the same day as my win was on the 20th April and when I phoned pip about my arrears 2wks later they said they didn't receive the dicision till 23rd April. So which date does their 1 mth to appeal start from.

Both you and the DWP have one month from the date of the Tribunal hearing to start an appeal to the Upper Tier Tribunal.
It usually takes the DWP 5-8 weeks to process a Tribunal Result so you may have to wait a bit longer.
