How long does mandatory reconsideration take? was created by johnshadenough27
I expect this is how long is a piece of string...but it has been a month now since my DLA stopped and I need to know how much longer this may take? I have been diagnosed with a mental illness since 1998 and this is all so stressful as I received 0 points from the assessment.
My sister helped me with typing out details for mandatory reconsideration where we picked holes and pointed out where things had been totally misinterpreted and it was sent a month ago. Is it an idea for my sister to call the DWP as I get so anxious speaking to professionals?

MRs usually take 5-8 weeks but there is no harm in you contacting the DWP for an update.
