how long is the wait? was created by a-t

hi all how long is the wait from sending back completed pip2 form to actually
getting a decision or an appointment for a face to face assessment?

also how much notice do you get of any possible face to face assessment?

We would expect you to hear about an assessment in 3-6 weeks for an appointment 1-2 weeks later, a Decision will be 2-4 weeks after that.

I had assessment for PIP today. Was told it could taken up to 10 weeks for outcome. Unthinkable as one of my conditions is anxiety. I will be driven mad. It is too long to wait for those with anxiety. The assessor admitted they knew nothing about some of my conditions which did not have a good impression.
