My partners pip appeal was adjourned today because she was advised that from the evidence in the bundle the existing award may be at risk.We have waited 9 months for this so we are very disappointed.Has anybody else experienced this?

It's unusual but we do see this reported in the forum.
I have no access to your partners papers so cannot offer advice as to whether they should continue with the appeal or not. You should take the warning seriously but this does not meant that when they question your partner that they will not find the that the award is justified. however, I cannot quantify the risk.
