I was recently re-assessed for ESA and was once again placed into the support group.
A week later I get notification from my GP that the Centre for Health / Disability Assessment had asked my GP to fill out a questionnaire. I would be charged for this.
I rarely see my GP as I have a lot of specialists. Do I have to have him fill out the form, is it unusual to have them ask for information after approving me? I'm at a loss as to what to do.
Don't they usually request information before approval?
If you are sure that a Decision has been made on this reassessment then there would be no reason for further evidence to be sought.
I would also tell your GP that they need to seek payment from the DWP, they should be aware that this is standard practice. You have no responsibility to pay.
