Blue badge renewal was created by Susan Smith
Hi, my blue badge is due for renewal in August, when I originally got it I had a referral from my doctor, I was on DLA but not the high rate but got one from the council, since then I have been awarded pip enhanced on both sections.
My question is what do I do now to renew the badge please, do I go contact the council again or do I have to apply somewhere else now that I have been awarded pip.
Also will it be issued again for 3 years.

If you scored 8 or more points for the Moving Around activity then you have automatic entitlement to a Blue Badge.
If you didn't then you need to apply directly to your local authority as you did before.

Thanks Gordon, yes I got the highest scoring for moving around, but not sure where to apply for the renewal now as I got my previous one from the council as I was not assessed at that time for PIP.
