PIP

I had a home face to face assessment on 1st June and was told it would take 3-4 weeks to hear back from them. I called PIP Tuesday bacause I hadn’t heard anything for them to say they hadn’t received the assessment back yet. I then today get a call from independent assessment service saying due to I.T. issues I need to have a repeat assessment. I don’t think I can go through the stress and anxiety of this again. Does anyone know where I stand with this.

Given the issue you can push for a Paper Based Review or at the least a home assessment but I'm afraid the your claim cannot progress until a report is produced and sent to the DWP, so some form of assessment has to be done.
