Welcome to the forum, you might want to have a look at the following FAQ which explain where everything is

Welcome to Benefits and Work

In case you are not aware, your real name appears to be showing in the forum, if you want to change this then follow the instructions in the following FAQ

My full name is showing, how can I stop it?

Your DLA will not be effected.

As to your ESA, it will depend on what you receive;

If you only receive Contribution Based ESA then your ESA is not effected.

If you receive Income Related ESA in part or in whole then there will be deductions but it will depend on the agreement you have with the person you take in.

If they only pay rent for the room then there is a £20/week disregard followed, any rent above this will be deducted from your ESA(IR).

If they pay for rent and board then then there is a £20/week disregard followed by a deduction of 50% of any additional rental income.
