Thanks for the advice. We sent off the request for a Mandatory Reconsideration (and a copy of the assessment) just under 2 weeks ago. Should we wait around for the Department to get back to us or chase it up ourselves?

We are seeing delays in the system due to the Summer holidays so I would hold off chasing it for at least four weeks but after that contact the DWP office dealing with your claim.
