Avoiding being transferred to Unuversal Cedit?

I understand UC bundles 6 benefits into one.
That potentially people on ESA May be transferred into that and lose their benefits, but heard on Monetbox R4 , sometime ago that if you can avoid being transferred under UC umbrella.
I was migrated to ESA in 2011, I have a private pension, so though in Support group, I’d kept full ESA (tho was taxed on it) I didn’t just have an ‘underlying entitlement), I got the top amount because I am on high rate care component of DLA.
I’ve not been transferred to PIP yet but any moment, my MS OT says that they are putting everyone on standard rate, or non at all. And the DM always upholds assessor decision so you have to appeal and go to tribunal.
So if that happens to me soon this puts my ESA at risk, especially since the steam roller of UC arrives before I manage to get high rate PIP.

Is that correct.

And how woukd I attempt to avoid UC if it comes before PIP assessment?

So two questions (or more) there?

Thank you !!!

Nobody is being moved to UC at the moment unless they need to make a new claim for one of the benefits that come under UC.

Income Related ESA claimants will be invited to move to UC at some time after the middle of next year, although this seems optimistic. If you are receiving ESA(IR) then you cannot avoid this transfer.

It is still unclear what will happen to ESA(CB) claimants but it will not involve |UC.

As to your DLA, in the nicest way, your OT does not know what they are talking about!

An adverse PIP Decision will not affect your ESA.

Thank you Gordon. I have written another question which is about a direct contact from JC+ which is worrying me and out of the usual as a contribution based claimant.
