My wife has been refused at M.R. and would like to appeal, she received the M.R on the 13th July so it would need to be done by 13th August, the problem is we have been offered support from a welfare rights adviser who will fill in all the forms and attend with us on the date only he can't see us until the 15th so it will be approximately one week late, will the appeal be excepted if its a week or so late due to waiting on appointment for representation?
You can make a Late appeal, you will need to provide your reasons for the request being late on the SSCS1, your advisor will be able to help you with this and I would expect the delay in getting representation to be accepted as good reason for the request being late.
