AR1 forms, do you ever hear the result?

I am the appointee for my 18 year old daughter, this is about her.

I received the AR1 form to be returned by the 14th July. Due to bith her and my disabilty we got an alternative version (fillable pdf) to fill in and duly sent it back in plenty of time. We then got a letter that took 18 days to get to us with a cd recording of the letter (they've obviously decided that my daughter is blind), that arrived addressed to my daughter on the 28th July stating that the needed to receive the form by the 24th. I have been told the letter was sent by mistake and they didn't know why we had an audio copy.

We've heard nothing since. My daughter goes to university (with a massive amount of support) in less than 3 weeks. How long are people waiting to hear about this form or do we just get a renewal form nearer the end of her award?

Thanks!

There are delays in the assessment process at the moment, no doubt due to Summer holidays, you can contact the Assessment Provider for your postcode for an update.

Then you need to contact the DWP office dealing with your claim if your form was returned in mid-July then I would expect one of the Assessment Providers to have received your file by now.
