The dreaded brown envelope has dropped through the door for my reassessment of eligibility for PIP. For my first assessment I received lower payment for care and scored 10 on the mobility so missed out on the full mobility which I had previously had on DLA. I didn't appeal as I was too scared. As well as Fibromyalgia, I have epilepsy, severe diverticulitis, arthritis, and have had 3 knee replacements in the last 12 years. My mobility is shocking and due to the epilepsy I cannot drive. Yes I can plan a journey but I cannot make one alone, i.e. I need to use taxis, or ask friends to give me lifts. Shopping is impossible etc like many of you here on this site. Any advise on completing the assessment form would be appreciated. Thanking you all in advance.
I have to move your post to its own topic we ask members not to put their questions in other's topics as it can lead to the wrong advice being taken or given.
In particular, have a look at the advice on Mobility, your current award appears to be based on your being unable to Undertake a Journey, if this is still your issue then you cannot score higher for the Going Out activity so your only route to an Enhanced award would be to also score in the Moving Around activity.
