Hi, Does anyone know of an IFA who can advise about pensions re someone on benefits, I've spoken to a couple of IFA's but they couldn't offer much in the way of advice as they knew nothing about the benefits system, I need to know what n when n how etc as I've a private pension which I could start to take in a few years but don't know if should or leave for a while, this balanced against the ticking clock that is a degenerating condition and the thought of doing something with these funds while I can, any advice greatly appreciated, KoP.
You may be better served getting advice from a trained Welfare Rights advisor about the impact the pension income and savings can have on your benefits and then getting advice about your pensions from an IFA.
Do an internet search with for "welfare advice" with your postcode, town or county.
