Will DWP's arrears trigger UC?

I couldn't summarise it very well in the subject line but I am one of the people who have been contacted by the DWP re their error in migration from IB to ESA. So far so good. But just had a closer look at all the questions and at the end it says 'if you have claimed housing benefit or applied for a reduction in council tax your local council will get in touch with you.'

So I'm worried that if my savings go over 6K, housing benefits could decide it is a change of circumstances and then it will trigger UC. UC began in my area last month presumably for new claimants and those with change of circumstances. I know migration has been put on hold, I think, but what about this situation?

Thanks Gordon. So will it be disregarded even if together with the arrears plus my own savings it then goes over my savings limit?
