When an application for MR is requested - how much information is required ? Are you just requesting MR or do you need to back it up with reasons?

You don't have to provide additional reasons with your MR but you are very unlikely to get the Decision revised if you don't;

(a) explain why the Decision is incorrect and
(b) make sure that you have explained why you meet the criteria for an award.
