Carer getting PIP

Has anyone who is a carer claimed PIP in their own right? - I have my face to face this coming Monday and was wondering if anyone has any advice. I'm worried sick about the entire thing - I've never felt such stress.

I'm also worried that this will affect my sons PIP when he is due to apply again.

I think it unlikely but be prepared to answer questions about how you manage your caring responsibilities and still need help with your own care.
