PIP PA4 report vastly different to decision? was created by DaynaEMCraig
I was given a lifetime award of DLA in 2008, and at the end of last year had my face-to-face assessment to bring me over to PIP. When I received their decision - zero points anywhere - I was extremely upset and asked for my medical report.
Weirdly, the assessor had giving me 11 points for care? A lot is wrong with the report, and I'm working on my documents for mandatory reconsideration currently. Just confused and curious what reason there would be for the face-to-face assessor to give me points, and the decision maker to throw them all out. The assessor clearly wrote down that I cannot do certain things - if not to the degree I agree with - and the decision maker's verbatim little screed simply says "You said you have difficulty with (task), I decided you can do (task)." Strange.

The Decision Letter should include the DMs statement of reasons as to how they made the Decision this should include why they disagree with the assessment report.
