If they have reduced your ESA by £47 per week then you must have more than £16,000, this being the case then you have lost your entitlement to Income Related ESA and the benefits that it passports such as free prescriptions.
If you receive Housing Benefit then you need to contact your Local Authority as well.
Once your savings are below £16,000 and you can show that your expenditure was reasonable then your ESA(IR) will be reinstated although it will still be reduced until your savings are below £6000.
