Pip has impacted esa decision was created by Tammy
I posted last week saying I have had my pip care component reduced to standard. I was worried it could impact the esa group I was put in. I have just had a letter from the esa putting me into the work related group. This was what I was worried about. I ha e to start doing interviews and training.
We are all strangers here so I’m going to tell you the truth of my situation. For 30 + years I’ve been abused by my lpartner. In that time I fell over damaging my back and discs. I found out I had femoral actebulor so I had a full hip replacement. It has made my pain worse and my legs are different lengths now. I’ve got a cyst in my knee which causes it to calapse and causes pain. I’ve got arthritis and tennis elbow, I’ve also got fibromyalgia. I suffer with anxand depression. suicidal thoughts.
Recently my daughter told me over the phone I have bipolar. I’ve recently moved and my old doctor won’t see me and the new one says not for a week or more until I’m registered. I started seeing the man that abused me again and he says I have a personality disorder.
My dad used to help me but he has copd and he is very involved with my mother who stopped speaking to me. The truth is he is very selfish and doesn’t want to be involved it will stop him doing what he wants. I don’t have anyone else I can ask for help. I just get through the day. I tried to do things myself and I made myself ill. I pretend to my daughters school I don’t pick her up from the playground because I can’t stand around and wait and that is true but some days I might manage but I can’t face poeple. On bad days I can’t control myself and will cry. I’m paranoid and so tired. I peg had a terrible 3 years and I’ve desperately been hoping things would become stable for me so I could work. It seems impatient meet the criteria to achieve the standard for esa. I don’t have the support I need. Even though I’ve ended up having to do most things myself it still hurts. I’m trying but I’m still not used to his much pain I’m in. No one seems to understand what it’s like to be in pain and describing it so poeple understand is very difficult. I know I need help and I need to be honest about I’m effected but I’m very ashamed of the mental struggle I am having. I’m also ashamed that I don’t hsbe the help I need because no one cares enough. Perhaps they are desensitised

Hello Gordon I’m embarrassed to say I don’t remember. It was only about a month ago maybe but I just can’t remember.
I can tell you what my problems are if that’s any help?
Thanks

Request a copy of the ESA assessment report, it's an ESA85 if you had a report or an ESA85A if you did not. Also, ask for the LT54 is there was one.
You need to understand how you previously had an award, when you contact the DWP for the reports from this assessment see if you can also be sent the ones from the previous assessment. if they can't then you will need to make a Subject Access Reuqest

Thanks Gordon. Will I be able to ask for s mandatory reconsideration? Is it worth my parents contacting citizens advice or the law centre

Yes, the procedure is exactly the same as I have explained for your PIP claim.
It's always worth your trying to get face to face advice if you can just make sure that you retain ownership of what is going on, only you profit or lose so make sure that you understand what they are suggesting and that you are happy with it.
