Was awarded enhanced rate for care, after being on standard. I have not been given enhanced rate for mobility as the law states as I am now a state pensioner I cannot be awarded the higher rate. Is this correct? I know people in their 70's who receive mot ability and drive motabity cars. Am I being discriminated against?

I'm afraid PIP (and DLA before it) do not allow a new award or increased award of the Mobility component once the claimant has reached State Retirement Age or 65, whichever is the higher, the only exception is when the claimant is being transferred from DLA to PIP where the limitation is suspended.
